Re: 2 1/2 years down, and doing fine!

kim,
your blog is the first one i found after my wife was diagnosed with lymphoma four months ago. i was searching for anything. i got so much of it here. just a personal connection with the disease instead of what i was getting in the hospital.
i don't think my wife ever came here, but i did. all the time.
reading up on your path, your treatment, your story.
and at the same time, i started my own blog....
http://luchalee.wordpress.com
and 250,000 people later, here i am coming back to pay homage to you and your ass-kicking of the cancer that showed up at your door.
our story is the same, and different.
go and read if you want, or don't...you've lived it.
my wife was 34 and 20 weeks pregnant the day she was diagnosed. we lost the baby. but 6 chemo treatments later she may be in remission.
anyway, just wanted to thank you
for being out there,
for not hiding away with your cancer,
even if you wanted to.
stories beget stories.
and we all need stories like yours about cancer,
so that we can live them out ourselves.
much warmth,
daniel weinshenker
